Polarlight Productions is a Sacramento-based video production company founded in 2018 by filmmakers Laura Donohue Garcia and Rolando Garcia. We partner with cities, public agencies, schools, and businesses to create compelling video, photography, and visual content that informs, engages, and connects with audiences.

With a hands-on team and a trusted network of creative professionals, we provide production support for projects of all sizes, from community stories and public information campaigns to training videos, promotional content, event coverage, and commercial productions. Our capabilities include professional video production, photography, drone footage, live and multi-camera production, and graphic design.

We understand that every organization has different goals, timelines, budgets, and approval processes. That’s why we take a collaborative, flexible approach to every project, working closely with your team from initial planning through filming, editing, and final delivery. We also offer accessible and multilingual content solutions, including captions, translations, to help organizations reach broader audiences.

At Polarlight Productions, we believe great production is about more than creating beautiful visuals. It’s about understanding your message, making the process easier for your team, and creating content that serves a purpose. Whether you need support for a single project or a long-term production partner, we’re here to help bring your vision to life.
